Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Harmonica, Dobro.

Interested in joining or helping to form a rock/blues/a little country/Americana (plus horns?) band. I can sing lead on a lot of songs, and can harmonize for backup vocals. For last few months was practicing with an 80s hard rock/early metal band.

What I'm looking for in a band: serious musicians who are willing to put in the work to create a good sound. Jamming is ok if it's to try out new sounds/songs, but it needs to be leading to something. I love lyric-writing and would love to be in a group interested in doing some originals. My day job is in marketing and graphic design, by the way, so I can help promote as well (two of the photos were a "suggested" CD cover and band promo graphic I designed for a rockabilly/country band I was singing with--I wrote lyrics for the title song on the mock cover afterward--they're actually great lyrics, but I need a country band to help me produce the song).

I have some degree of hearing loss (years of rock music) and use an in-ear monitor to help hear my own vocals. If you have a small band practice room that is frequently overpowered by guitars that crank up way too loud (where you can't hear anything else) then you probably should consider that singers have to be able to hear to sing well for your band.

Side note: I have some basic instrumental ability. I would be willing to trade free show backup vocals (to a good band) in exchange for free guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, or blues harmonica lessons by a good musician.
