I'm Pam Newman, nice to meet you! I am embarking on a solo project and need some fun, cool, professional people to make this project fly creatively and profitably.
Previously, I was the frontperson of a very popular and active pop-punk band. That band had/has 2 songs on regular rotation on WFPK. That project also received a positive album review and legitimate show attention in the LEO. Among many other venues from here to Indianapolis we played 3rd Street Dive, The Melody Inn & the Kentuckiana Pride Festival. I play a little guitar, and consider myself a songwriter. I have a few songs ready to play, and am almost ready to record an EP (I need your help to make that a reality).
The sound I'm going after for this project is a rock sound with punk and pop influences.
I've been doing the solo thing for a hot minute and have played at Stevie Rays & the Rudyard Kipling, among other places local to Louisville. The vibe I would like to create for live shows in this project one is of a rock band with a frontperson who doesn't play an instrument onstage. The plan is to continue to gig regularly & to tour nationally.
