By trade I am a bassist, guitarist, vocalist, composer & Arranger, with a wide vocal range. Over the past 55years I have experience working in many idioms of music including: 2years with a Latin Trio as well as 1year with a Latin big band. Additionally, 1 year, with an American big band and 40years with various R&B, rock & Pop/Jazz ensembles. One of my main strengths is my vocal ability which allows me to sing comfortably in 5 octaves.
I have also organized music groups and led them in performance. My vocal style is best described as having a wide vocal range and flexibility, as well as depth, with a strong falsetto, predominantly around an R&B choral flavor. In addition, I have performed in Broadway musicals, as part of the orchestra and chorus. For example: “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Pippin”, as well as other traveling musicals such as, “The King And I”. I have also performed in many Atlantic City and Las Vegas shows as well as cabaret acts throughout the US.
I also own and operate a recording studio called Island Sound Studios, located in Commack N.Y. where I have worked on film scoring for the Animal Channel, and have performed and created music for movies such as “Goodfellas”, “Carleto’s Way”, “Devils Dominos”
