Parachute Stage is based in Deep River, Connecticut, where half of the members reside; the other’s stem from the New Haven region of CT. The music of Parachute Stage is all original and written by band-front, Dee Ginicola. She has been writing and playing acoustic styled music most of her adult life, but it wasn’t until the formation of the band that her sound truly evolved.

Influences
Parachute Stage's music draws its influence from the great rock bands of the sixties through the jam bands of today. That's not to say Parachute Stage is a jam band, but rather that their sound has an uplifting feeling of freedom and optimism.
