Paradigm of Hubris + Band in Cedar Rapids, IA

ABOUT

We are Paradigm of Hubris, a local band from Cedar Rapids, Iowa formed by guitarist Josh Spangler and drummer Jason O'Neil. Currently we are seeking, at minimum, a bassist to make our overall sound more wholesome, but are also interested in adding a lead singer (gender doesn't matter, just as long as you can sing), and possibly another guitarist. Ability for instrumentalist to sing backup (or lead) is a plus, but by no means necessary.

As a side note, Jason is considering switching from drums to lead vocals/rhythm guitar, so we are also seeking a replacement drummer, should we decide to go that route. Regardless of the route we take, we plan on working on jams, writing original music, and covers as well so we can begin gigging later on, once we have a full band and feel prepared to do so.

At the moment, we are mainly freestyle jamming and uploading videos of our jams to sites like be, , and Bandmix so viewers can get a feel for what we like to play, so feel free to check us out. However, we are very open-minded to new ideas and would greatly welcome any new perspectives and creativity to feed off of. Also, our guitarist has written over 40 original songs (most complete with lyrics), so we have a strong understanding on the songwriting and lyric writing processes for future endeavors.
