ABOUT

Hi, I'm Hugo and Paradise Drive is my Alternative Space Rock band/project. I just moved to the bay area and am in search of two very skilled musicians. I am looking for a bass player and drummer who are willing to learn my songs and perform them live. I am also in search for a manager.

Paradise Drive is a modern rock band based in Marin County. I write, record, produce, mix and release my original music independently. PD’s sound is constantly evolving, however, it is a modern rock/alternative band with a hint of vintage 80s arena rock. Previously influenced by Van Halen, Def Leppard, and Journey, PD has moved into a more modern synth based rock production style like Coldplay, U2, Muse, The Band Camino, Pale Waves, and many more modern rock bands. I am not in search of co-writers currently but band members to back me up on stage for live shows/showcases. If you are interested in joining for the experience of playing live, that is greatly appreciated and awesome. However, if you are a musician who only does paid gigs, I will pay you per show a flat fee.

Bassists:
Must be over 21 and have had performing experience. The ideal candidate would be versed in rock, punk, and pop. Versatility is important. You must be able to play with and without a pick. Being able to play to a click track on tempo is a must.

Drummers:
Must be over 21 and have had performing experience. You are the bones of the band. I need someone who can play in the pocket with good timing and self-control, dexterity, and solid dynamic range. You know when to play loud and when to play quiet. You must be able and willing to play to a click and use in-ears for live show backing tracks. In certain scenarios, you might be the one leading the band with the click track and cues.
