I started drumming in advanced jazz band in high school. I drum at Diablo Valley College now. Music is not my major but I take a music class every semester to continue to develop my voice on the kit.

Influences

Some Favorite Tracks: Miles Davis - So What, Kings of Leon - Closer, Chon - Rosewood, Marquis Hill - Ego vs. Spirit

I am really into fusion and progressive rock. Swans, Animals as Leaders, Chon, and The Contortionist are a few bands that have influence on my playing.

I also enjoy Hip-Hop/Rap. Kendrick Lamar and Danny Brown come to mind.

Rock is big for me too. Kings of Leon and Led Zeppelin here.
