I'm the pastor of First Baptist Church (FBC) Marshallville. For those unsure Marshallville is just south of Wadsworth on Route 94, and just southeast of Rittman.
After years in flux, we have decided to go with a more rock oriented, Elevation worship/Seventh Day Slumber modern worship style. Listen to Seventh Day Slumber's "How Great Is Our God" and mix in some Jesus Culture, Hillsong, that is the direction we're headed.
So we need keyboardists, guitarists, strong singers. Right now as we are building from the ground up we are open to all possibilities.
We're looking for musicians who want to bring excellence to every note they play or sing. We value are creativity, excellence, joy in making music and dynamic leadership.
I want the praise to be very free and open, have fun, I plan to record and put some of the live music online as well as the potential for recording for promotional purposes.
The sky is the limit if we are just willing to be open to the spirit and do what we love.
