I would consider myself and intermediate drummer. I can play most modern rock stuff, and some more complex stuff. I love and am open to metal, but blast beats and crazy double bass speed aren't for me. I would love to be part of a two or three piece group similar to the black keys or white stripes--something with a good thick groove and minimal instrumentation. I would even be interested in just strictly sharing music online and adding my own drum parts to it for you. I'm primarily rock and heavy rock/metal but open to a lot of genres though. I've played everything from Brian Adams (lol) and Oasis to Black Sabbath to Van Halen to Snot. Looking to jam first, then maybe more depending on family commitments.I won't flake out on you. If I say I'll be there I'll be there, and I'll be up front about it if I can't. I hate people who disappear or don't commit to things.
Probably looking for bandmates over 25 or so. I don't want to be the old guy jamming with a bunch of kids..lol I can play guitar enough to do some general rhythm and used to be a pretty good trumpet player on the rare possibility that it would be needed. I can sing decently but I'm not a front man. I have some live experience but not a ton, but playing in front of a crowd doesn't make me nervous. I think an ideal situation for me would be playing local gigs and parties and small festival things as opposed to frequent bar gigs. I'm not looking to make much if any money.

Influences
As far as how I sound, it would be Bill Ward from Black Sabbath, some Dave Grohl, Sully Erna's drum tracks her played for Godsmack early on, and a little Black Keys and White Stripes.
EQUIPMENT
Gretsch Renown Maple, Zildjian A-Customs and Sabian AAX cymbals, Pearl pedals, nice hardware, mics, mixer and some PA speakers but not powerful enough to run a band with. I have guitars and amps as well. Nothing special.
