Former professional musician, now enjoying a return to a more active music life - writing, recording, gigging - after wrapping up a successful career outside of music. (Moved from ATL to Greensboro in spring 2023.)
My regular bands, Outer Park and Laurasia, are geographically dispersed, so we gather and record infrequently. I've got plenty of time!
I'm interested and experienced in a wide variety of music, but at this point the most fun might be 1) playing electric guitar in an adventuresome or jazzy rock band, 2) playing acoustic guitar to accompany a singer-songwriter or Americana ensemble, or 3) playing an assortment of instruments in a faux-folk band (in the mold of Pentangle or Fairport Convention).
I also write, both lyrics and music, although my favorite songwriting is putting others' words to music.

EQUIPMENT
Primarily guitars (electric, steel- and nylon-stringed acoustics); also mandolin, electric bass, baritone guitar, autoharp, harp guitar. Have stage amps, microphones, wide assortment of stomp boxes.
Also have a home studio for demos and workshop-ing new songs. Pretty good at ProTools and Logic Pro. I have produced about ten album-length releases over the years.
