An Intermediate acoustic guitar and harmonica player, I lead both a (currently) virtual open mic forum, "Columbia Strums & Drums Collaborative," and a live-play acoustic ensemble, "The New Day Anachronisms," (NDA) in Howard County/Columbia.
For NDA, we seek an intermediate+ lead acoustic guitarist, mando and/or fiddle with background/harmony vocal ability, for upcoming farmers market engagements. We focus in pop, folk and soft rock of the 60s thru 2000s, and offer a full PA. We only ask availability and dedication for practice/rehearsals (1-2 days/wk), then pre-gig, we rehearse set lists for two days, with a day off prior to gig days.
We are post-professional, and play for the sake of music; we are not a paid band (donations very appreciated). We prefer to find or be invited to venues in the local community. We want to prove that for love of what we do as friends and musicians, "free does not equal lousy." Give us your requests and we'll work up a set list!
