ABOUT

Have played guitar for many years, both solo and in groups. I have a decent-to-good voice, best used as a harmony singer. I toured years ago, but left that behind to take a "real" job, and now that my time is my own, I'd like to hook up with others and make great music again.I enjoy a number of genres, from classic rock, to acoustic singer-songwriter, to blues, to classic R&B. Playing music is a joy and a privilege. I come equipped with a selection of guitars, both electric and acoustic; 6- and 12-strings. I own a couple of amps and a set of F/X pedals, a couple of mic's and stands, etc.

Influences

Many and varied: Beatles and Stones, Byrds and Hollies; countless blues artists, including Paul Butterfield and John Mayall, who showed little white boys where to look to find the Real Deal. Of course Dylan, and so many singers and songwriters like Warren Zevon and John Hiatt. Then there's the Temps, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, everything Steve Cropper has ever played on...I could go on for days.
