We are Canamara- a central Jersey original rock band from Matawan, NJ.
Canamara started in 2010 and like a fine wine- or an IPA beer- it has gotten better with age.
We have professionally recorded with Joey Z from Life Of Agony in 2012 at his studio in Brooklyn and we also recently recorded a 5 song EP at Woodrock Studio in Raritan, NJ.
This band is more of a dedicated hobby. We are laid back but all of us have a few goals- to wright awesome music and to play gigs.
Canamara has played all over New Jersey. Starland Ballroom, Dingbatz, The Saint, and The Court Tavern are just a few of the venues that we have played.
Recently our bass played left to pursue other projects. That means we have an opening for a bassist.
