Paul Phillip Music

Vocalist, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Background Singer, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle.

Paul Phillip Music (PPM), formerly 'The Splendid Anachronisms,' is an acoustic music collaboration ranging from a one-person show to duo and trio presentations. PPM's preferred 'turf' is Howard, Baltimore, and Montgomery Counties, Maryland, but will range further for the right opportunities. PPM is available for community and private event engagements, our music focuses in Americana and Popular music, 60s through 2000s (love the 80s and 90s!).

***PPM welcomes outreach from contributors with intermediate to advanced acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo with a modicum of vocal talent.***

Solo, PPM performs with vocals, guitar and harmonica, and electronic percussion, able to generate 'big sound' through effects and vocal processors. PPM is kudo'd on its acoustic adaptations of popular music not originally conceived as acoustic. PPM thrives on community events, farmers markets and smaller venues (up to 100 or so).

PPM performs primarily daytime gigs, Paul plays for the sake of music and bringing joy to our audiences. With strong affinities toward busking in the local community.

** PPM requests that musicians joining us for indoor practice, rehearsal or performance be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and up-to-date with boosters.**
