We're a high-energy, guitar-driven blues band that plays an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary blues, as well as some retro pop tunes, rock, and soul. We're looking for a male or female singer who has a feel for the music, enjoys playing as a band, and likes connecting with an audience.
About us:
We're not a note-for-note cover band; we bring our own flavor. We're also writing songs (so if you write/collaborate, that's a plus). Though we have been guitar-bass-drums-vocals we might like to incorporate another instrument if you also happen to play one.
About the commitment level:
We practice as a group once a week for three to four hours. We all come prepared and know the songs and expect you to do so as well. The goal is to fill out our set list in the next two-three months, and ultimately to play about two gigs per month.
The usual requirements:
Drug free, own transport, lives in/around Ann Arbor, plays well with others, own equipment strongly favored. Contact pauldbarron at dot com
