ABOUT

I am a guitar player and drummer in my 40's with 30+ years of band experience looking for a 70â??s â?? current rock/dance cover band with a similar experience level. I have the ability to learn songs quickly and may very well know much of what your band plays. My general style is riff rockâ??ish, but grew up in the 80â??s and can play that era as well. Also love the pop music of today. I'm comfortable harmonizing with a singer (high voice) and can sing lead in certain songs. Ideally would want to play upbeat radio friendly tunes to keep them on the dance floor.

Not particularly interested in an all blues, all 60's or 70's classic rock, or all country band, but happy to play any in a mixed set. Covers (in no particular order) like:
70â??s: Steve Miller, Queen, Skynyrd, Styx, Kiss, Grand Funk, etcâ?¦
80â??s: Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Bryan Adams, Cheap Trick, John Cougar, The Cars, Stray Cats, G&R, etcâ?¦ Even some hair band stuff â?? Poison, Night Ranger, Ratt, Dokken, etcâ?¦
90â??s: Collective Soul, Black Crowes, Matchbox 20, 3 Doors, Pearl Jam, etcâ?¦
2000â??s: Maroon 5, Gaga, Pink, Rob Thomas, etc...
2010's: Bruno, One Republic, Adele, etc...

I have pro gear for large or small rooms, transportation, do not have any habits, a good career, and am a family guy.

Practice 2 to 3 times per month (more initially as needed) and play live 2-3 times per month would be ideal, but not a requirement.

Prefer an existing band with a need but will consider a startup with like minded individuals.

Even if I don't fit all of your criteria, lets talk...
