ABOUT

I am a guitarist seeking a band in the Portland/Vancouver area. I have played in a few bands over the years and achieved moderate success, mostly with my old band, Ghost Town Grey. Check out my videos for a glimpse into my writing style. I have been fortunate enough to play at large music festivals over the years, including Summer Slaughter Tour (2015), Rock 101's Viva La Luna Showcase (2010), the Portland Rose Festival (2011), and PDX Rockfest (2011). My playing style is primarily rock/metal (see influences below), but I am open to other genres and styles. My repertoire of guitar techniques that I most often use include tremolo picking, pinch harmonics, and gallop style chugging. At this point in my life, I am just looking to make music for fun and maybe tour a little bit. If you feel the same as I do and you are serious about making genuine music, then I invite you to send me an email at kylejohnchin33. Thanks!
