I am professionally trained and am a former professional musician. I haven’t done music professionally for a number of years, but am interested in returning to do music. I have an interest in exploring the possibility of either starting or joining a folk music group either just for the enjoyment of playing and singing or doing weekend gigs.
My first priority is to enjoy what I am doing, stay true to the type of music I am most interested in which would be folk genre that includes melodic harmonies and do it with excellence (need to be talented and serious about quality of the music).
Not really interested in starting or joining a “Christian band”, but Christian influences in the music and some hymns / Gospel songs would be welcome.
