Over my life I have played 5 musical instruments but drums and lead vocals are my main comfort zone. I have performed all types of music professionally for many years in many venues including studio & concert work. I have a formal music background. The last few years I have performed with a very successful, tasteful improv vintage Classic rock group in N.E Wisconsin. My home base is here in Minnesota. For The last 3 years I have an established 5 piece blues band, "The Ball Busters" and continue with seasoned musicians that can play from the heart with dynamics and in different keys. I do not seek a copy band format. This project is a Stevie Ray, Albert King, Guitar Shorty, BB King, Chris Duarte, Melvin Taylor type project with our interpretation on how we feel the song should be preformed. This type of group is a first for my area. I am a very solid drummer. I don't throw the whole kitchen sink in. I don't rush the or push the tempo. I play in the pocket with a lot of solid back slap on the snare. My kick is solid and only drop runs when there is a hole. I work very closely with the bass player to keep it solid.I'm now a lead singing drummer and sing about 33 songs a night. 218-864-3182

EQUIPMENT

Restored 1969 Vintage Rogers Powertone Drum set. One kick, one Ludwig snare, two toms and 2 floor toms. Cymbals are 2 rides and 2 crashes. I have mics and snake for my kit, processor for snare if needed, in ear monitor and vocal mic. I tune my kit low to make it sound big and deep. Lighting system and sound system.
