Drummer and vocalist Peter Parker, a native of Staten Island, was signed out of CBGB’s to Stiff/Epic Records with the power-pop trio Dirty Looks.
He and the band toured Europe and the United States, recording two albums and three singles as well as making a movie for Stiff Records.
Parker also did session work for Clarence Clemens and was the drum technician for Stevie Nicks’ solo album.
He played and toured with several bands, including with Grey Zone, M-Theory, Planet Blue and Tom Pockets, and was nominated for the New York City Music Awards.
He lives in Wisconsin and is a freelance performer.
1979 to 1983 Drummer and vocalist for power-pop trio Dirty Looks, which was signed to Epic/Stiff Records. Recorded two albums and toured Europe and the United States.
1983 Recorded singles with producers John Wood (Squeeze), Richard Coterher (Blondie) and John Cale (Squeeze, Lou Reed).
1984-1985 Session work for Clarence Clemens. Drum technician for Stevie Nicks solo album, produced by Jimmy Iovine and engineered by Shelley Yakus (Tom Petty).
1984-1987 Drummer and vocalist for bands Grey Zone and M-Theory. Recorded a four-song demo.
1987-1988 Drummer for the band Torn Pockets, which was signed to Armstrong Records. Nominated for the New York City Music Awards. 1988-1994 Drummer for several New York bands.
1995 Performed with guitarist Arthur Anderson (Neil Diamond and Dan Fogelberg) in Florida.
1995-1996 Toured the United States as drummer and vocalist with the band Planet Blue of Tucson, Arizona.
1996-present Freelance drummer and vocalist with various bands and artists.
