Accomplished Keyboard player seeking to form group with female lead singer, backup singer, acoustic/electric guitar player, bass and drums to do an interesting mix of soft rock songs/some folk, and upbeat fun. Backup vocal singer will most likely be needed for a full sound. I want to put together a quality band with quality musicians. This is not a band to throw together which play too loud in bars. Look at my music list and you will see what I mean.
I ran a 24 track analog studio for years, so sound quality is very very important. I'm open to do other songs that the band suggests. It will be a mix of high energy tunes and tunes with nice dynamics. Drummer has to be tasty - not someone who bangs on the snare like and AC/DC or heavy metal drummer. There's a time and place for that...but not here. This is my first shot at a song list...but reviewing it you can tell what I like. If the music does not elicit emotions and move people I don't want it.
Need people who can practice at least one weekend day and maybe one night during the week. VERY IMPORTANT - I'm am personally NOT into this for money at all. It's nice to be paid but my money goes to my roadie. If you are looking for really high paying gigs, that's fine, but that is not what is driving me here.
Quality music and a pleasant listening experience is the key. If you want to make a lot of money fast, this is not for you. If you want to be really proud of what you are doing...this may be for you.
