Meddling middle-aged (non-beginner but certainly no Tommy Emmanuel or Slash) Guitarist looking to play some music and have a good time. Got back into playing the last few years, after about 10-15 year hiatus (not prison the military). Play both electric and acoustic guitar, with eclectic influences. Enjoy all types of musical genres, styles, and instruments. Love hearing/ seeing live music and respect the hell out of other artists and musicians.
Because of work/ life/ family balance can’t be available all the time, but would love to give it shot and see what happens. Played a few amateur events (get together, jam parties, and a singular bar set l while living in Germany). So, not a lot of “true” gigging experience, but willing to. At the very least, you can point, laugh, and feel better about yourself while you tell me I suck and to get lost.

Influences
A product of the early 80s, with the late 80s and early-mid 90s signifying when I first began to get interested in music. Heavily influenced by the bands of the grunge and post-glam rock era. GnR, AIC, STP, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Temple O’ the Dog, VR, Audioslave, RATM, Sublime, Blind Melon, etc.
Also country/ pop: Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakum.
Classic Era: hendrix, Zepplin, not a big Beatles fan (never saw the allure), eagles (But not a fan of their smudgity attitudes).
