Hi there! I just recently graduated from the Berklee College of Music, and thought I'd get on this site to meet some musicians in the NYC area! I started violin at age 3 and eventually took up piano and my MAIN instrument, guitar. I also sing and play a few bluegrass instruments for fun!
I think if I were to gauge my playing style, it would be somewhere between funk and jazz, but I'm open to many styles and have experience playing just about anything!
I also have experience from college in music production and engineering, so if anyone out there is looking for help recording feel free to contact me! (It is worth noting that I don't personally own any recording equipment right now; rather, I specialize in operating it and making things sound good)

Melanie Track number: 3 Year: 2011 Album: Songs About Women Genre: Funk
This is a song that my friend and I recorded for my final project at Berklee. I'm responsible for the songwriting, production, mixing, guitar playing, and even lead and backing vocals! In the left channel you can hear a lot of my rhythm guitar playing throughout most of the song, and I'm also playing lead guitar ad-libbing to my vocals.
Still Life Track number: 1 Year: 2011 Album: Songs About Women Genre: Funk
This is a song that my friend Nigel and I recorded for my final project at the Berklee College of Music. I'm responsible for the guitar playing (including the solo in the middle), the production, and mixing for this track. Hope you enjoy!
