I am in a band that I enjoy playing and being creative with, however am looking for like minded groove oriented musicians to do a horn band/ funk type project... perhaps a Jack Johnson/ Dave Mathews meet Tower of Power or Ohio Players type thing...I am looking for a funky, and happy group of folks that like performing, and want to start a really killer horn/funk band.

Influences
My first true hero was Jaco Pastorius, and I still find myself emulating him in some things to this day...I love to hear good players play, and never want to stop becoming a better musician...I like all the killer bass players that most look up to...Geddy Lee, Les Claypool, Flea...and with the invention of be...find a new hero daily..haha. Right now my biggest influence is actually advice I was given by a cat that did studio work, and continues to record and produce for a living this very day...play what the tune calls for..be a servant almost to the song...if it is three notes...then play them as if they mean everything....

EQUIPMENT
I have a very nice rig...I play through an Ampeg SVT7 PRO and Ampeg 610 KLHF cabinet, Seinheisser wireless, and am proud to be playing a Spector 5string neck through.
