ABOUT

Looking for rhythm / lead guitar / vocalist. As in, all in one.
I'm John Kelly. Some members of my last band are looking to regroup. We have guitar, bass, keys, and drums with all helping with vocals. We'll even do lead vocals on some songs. What we really need is another guitarist that can do lead vocals / front the band or a singer / frontman. If said guitarist could play some lead, that would be cool also. We're not looking for somebody to fill the role by just playing an acoustic guitar, we're all into classic rock and doing it amplified. I'm not saying there isn't a place in some songs for an acoustic now and then, but not as the main rhythm guitar. I know this is a tough role to fill and the song list will be dictated by the strengths of the vocals.
Let's talk. Social media. You know you can search my name on facexxxx.

Going to be adding some older danceable rock and other various artists. Always looking to add more. I can be found on effbee.

Classic & southern rock, 80's, 90's,. Stuff people can dance to.

I've played off and on in bands in upstate NY, (Rome-Utica area), and local Schuylkill county in the 70's and 80's. I have played all kinds of classic rock stuff from the Stones to Zep, Allman brothers, Foghat, Pink Floyd, Beatles, etc.

I'm into classic rock, some metal, some southern rock, hard rock, alternative. I've done some country, too. Thing is, I'll learn what I have to to get the job done.

I am retired and I'm available most any day. I would prefer to rehearse on weekends. As far as gigging, Weekends are best..

Not looking to tour the nation or play 3-4 times a week. I'm looking for fun & self-satisfaction, weekly practice, a couple gigs a month.

Music is about collaboration with others where the whole exceeds the sum of the parts.

For those of you that looked, Thanks! jayk52
