Phil Solomon was born in the Bronx, New York and grew up in Brooklyn. He has been performing since the age of 6 years old, singing, playing guitar and acting. Throughout High School and College he performed and recorded with several bands, including Peter and The Infinits and The Full Moon Travel Agency, playing such venues as Shea Stadium (The Batman Concert), The Bitter End, Goldbug, 8th Wonder,Trude Hellers, The Bay A Go Go, The New York Worlds Fair, The Cheetah Club and Palisades Park. In addition, with the band Peter and The Infinits, he perfomed at the Cafe Wha? in New York City on the same bill with Jimi James and the Blue Flame later known as Jimi Hendrix. Phil has also played on the same concert bill as The Temptations, The Rascals, Lovin’ Spoonful and many more. During the 80's and 90's Phil fronted his own Wedding/Party Bands, Mark III Music and The Phil Sterling Orchestra and Solid Ground performing at over 100 parties each year for over 15 years. He is a member of Musicology, and was a member of FatherRockit and Off Hour Rockers. Phil also performs as a single Acoustic/Electric/Singer. He is currently a member of the Classic Rock Band Underwater Airlines and Phil and Ron Acoustic Rock Duo.
