Looking to sub for Guitar/Lead/Rhythm and Bass. Fast study from recordings/charts.I am your ideal sub with many years of experience in many styles. I can also do session work.
I started playing in public in 1965 in his homeland Wales. I played in several Welsh bands in the late 60's and got to meet bands that have now become legendary: Led Zeppelin, Ten Years After, Traffic, The Who, and the Mothers of Invention.
While some of my former band-mates graduated to Van Morrison and Joe Cocker, I went to college but still played music.
In California, while a researcher at UC Davis I played Irish Music with "Whisky Before Breakfast" Latin Jazz with "Rio Thing", jump blues with "Slaves of Rhythm", featuring the unforgettable Stevie Pion on RIPPIN' blues harp. The World Music band "!Akimbo" followed with 4 CDs of original music with Yolo Mambo's Catherine LeBlanc on Vocals. I also worked with the acclaimed free jazz sax player John Tchicai in "Domestic Improv" and played bass for Jamaican Reggae artist Brother Errol G. I have over 8 CDs to my credit.
