PHILRAY was born and raised in Stokes County and has been a part of the music community since he was 3 years old. Starting in Bluegrass, he was competing at a very young age with his banjo. As he grew, so did his music interest. He was the lead singer of a band, Misgiven, that won many Battle of the Band contest. He is now playing as an acoustic solo act all over the states of North and South Carolina and parts of Virginia. He specializes in Southern and Classic Rock, Outlaw Country, Today’s Country and everything in between. We hope you all will bring your request to his next show!
