My name is Phillip, but most people call me Phil. I'm looking to get a band started. I'm interested in playing both covers and originals in a Progressive rock style reminiscent of Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull, The Moody Blues, and Kansas. though i'm certainly open to expanding the sound based on how the other members play. I'm into lots of music ranging from classic and alternative rock, to heavy metal, to folk, to jazz standards, to funk and classic R&B, to house and EDM. but my main love and musical inspiration is Prog rock, with my biggest influences being Yes, Genesis, Simon & Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, John Wetton (King Crimson, Asia, UK), David Bowie, and Electric Light Orchestra. I can play some very basic keyboards and a little more rhythm guitar, but not enough to be either a main guitar player or keyboardist. my main instrument is my voice. I'm a singer with a Low tenor/baritone range. I've managed to find a keyboardist and bassist, but am still looking for a guitarist and drummer
