I began taking guitar lessons at about 13 and, I admit, it took me about a year or two before I could really play anything besides some basic cowboy chords. Most of the music I write tends to be a bit slow and methodical but usually works well on either electric or acoustic. Despite my tendencies for writing slower paced stuff I'm capable of playing some tasty riffs although I aint no Slash. Most of the stuff I write I tend to write with my amigo Alex. I've played a few shows with two bands(Long Live the Martyr and What Fools These Mortals Be) both of which Alex and I were a part of but the other folks changed. We kicked some major buttocks, by the way. I'd like to stick with Alex as a bandmate, if I could, he is a tasty guitarist and lyricist so I guess this profile is for us both, in a way. I haven't trained much in other instruments but I'm usually able to figure them out on my own given a little time.

EQUIPMENT
One acoustic and one electric guitar, one amp (it's kind of wimpy) and a distortion pedal. Same goes for Alex.
