Musically educated bass player with an outstanding ear. My style is melodic, and I tend to wander a bit; think Paul McCartney mixed with, say, Phil Lesh. I love jazz, black gospel, and progressive anything but haven't played that much of them. I'm most familiar with 60s & 70s rock and Christian contemporary. Most of my playing has been in church.

I also play acoustic guitar moderately well, and can sing backup vocals in a pinch (I'm a baritone).

Available for spot gigs, experimental stuff, whatever.

I'm a Christian, and while I don't have to play with other Christians, I am going to be a real drag if you're into various forms of partying. Just warning you.

I own the basics for playing in a small venue: a 5-string Carvin fretless bass and a portable 200-watt GK combo. I also own a larger rig, a 200-watt GK head with a 2x10 GK cabinet and a Hartke 15 to fill in the low end. I also own an Ibanez nylon-string acoustic/electric guitar.
