SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Relatively new to Dallas and looking to join or start a band, preferably one that plays some combo of country/southern rock/rock. Generally play guitar but have been able to pick up a bit of bass, mandolin and banjo where necessary. Fairly strong rhythm player with some ability to play leads but a good ear and able to learn new songs quickly. Can provide harmonies and/or backing vocals as well as lead (if it's in the right range) and have written a number of melodies/songs though could use a little help on the lyrics. Would like to find someone(s) to partner with for an acoustic duo or a full-on band and would love to play shows when/where possible with a mix of covers and (eventually) originals.

Influences
Initial influences fell into the classic rock/southern rock/folk genres such as the rolling stones, jimi hendrix, the eagles, bob dylan and james taylor etc., but more recently have been influenced by players/songwriters like keith urban & kenny chesney with a mix of kacey musgraves and florida georgia line thrown in as well. Would love to have the ability to mix all of those artists into one band and be able to play a range of tunes.
EQUIPMENT
Mostly on guitars (electric and acoustic). Have my own amps and pedal rigs to allow for a wide variety of sounds.
