Brand new metal band forming. Guitarist and drummer have joined together with the shared vision forming an extremely heavy band with commercial appeal (ie: As heavy as any band out there without the monotonous and overdone “growling vocals” and “buda buda buda buda” double bass drums). The band will likely have many influences including death/dark metal, industrial/techno and urban/hiphop music. The members so far are comprised of an exceedingly talented guitarist with an actual degree in guitar and a former hard core drummer in the process of getting his skills retooled for metal.
This is your opportunity to help form a band and be there right from the start. There are no cliques, no egos, and no attitudes. We are looking for musicians with an overwhelming desire to be successful in music. Musicians who will treat this as a business not a hobby. This person has to be committed to practices and never miss shows. Music is how we intend to ultimately support ourselves. We will do anything to make that happen and we want to partner with people who share that vision.
1. We’re looking for a vocalist. Most importantly, someone who can turn lyrics into catchy hooks and melodies. The ability to write good lyrics is a plus but not required.
2. We’re looking for a bassist. Preferably a “groove” type bassist who can add a layer of complexity to our music and be one of the centerpieces the music is built around.
3. Lastly, we are looking for a keyboardist/DJ. Ideally this person would be familiar with the metal genre and how to use keyboards add depth and atmospheres to the music. Additionally, this person would be familiar with spinning/scratching etc. and have an understanding of how to incorporate this into metal music.

EQUIPMENT
We are using a very nice upstairs loft area in North Austin/Round Rock area to practice. However, we plan on renting practice space once we are playing shows. Drummer has professional level equipment (Sonor solid maple kit, Iron Cobra double pedals etc.). Guitarist is currently playing with Ibanez and Marshall equipment and is waiting for the band to be complete before buying a Line 6 stack and new ESP guitar. We also have computer workstations set up for recording and have tons of music production/recording software.
