I am a 30 yr old guitarist way into old school metal, classic rock, 90s alternative and other music. I am primarily interested in doing covers but only those of songs I actually like. I can do lead and rhythm, and I'm not picky about doing either exclusively (Trading off is more fun actually). I have decent guitar gear but I lack a quality, stage-ready bass rig. No PA either, sorry. As far as originals, I write songs but not very regularly.
Just a disclaimer: no Nickelback, no Creed, no Theory of A Deadman, no Green Day, no Disturbed, no 3 Doors Down, and no other forms of false metal, nu metal, or butt rock. No Christian music. Rock is devil's music and it's better that way.
The influences section covers what I like. If I sound picky it's because I am. I want to work with the right, like-minded people, so it's better to be honest about what I am and am not up front.
