I am a Composer/Arranger/Orchestrator; Berklee College Master Certificate in Arranging and Orchestration for Film and TV
I have over 30 years experience on drums, bass, piano/keys and rhythm guitar. I've played R&B/Soul, Gospel, Fusion, Jazz, Rock, Country and in orchestras. I started my first band in 1968 playing all the funk and r&b of the time(actually, the term Funk hadn't been applied yet).
I've played in high school and college concert/marching bands and theater orchestras.
Some of the artists I've worked with over the years are Herbie Hancock, Walter Hawkins & Family, Dave Brubeck & Sons, James Brown, Wynton Marsalis, Gunther Schuller, Arthur Storch, Elliot Fisk and George Broderick. I have 30 years experience as an audio broadcast/recording engineer and 23 years at National Public Radio.

I record at my home studio. The heart of the system is a Custom PC from ADK ProAudio with Windows 7 64bit running Nuendo 6 with 24 input 24bit/96khz MOTU interfaces. I compose and orchestrate using sample libraries, including EastWest Quantum Leap Gold, Kontakt 4, Pettinhouse Guitars, Garritan COMB 2, CineHarp and Electri6ity,Sibelius 6, Wavelab, SoundForge, Vegas 12.
