Pocketbook Brando

Band to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.

Rock and metal guitarist for nearly 35 years. Former touring lead guitarist (Cellar Door Productions artists) and songwriter for an East Coast band for ten years (we averaged about 170 shows a year), living in LA for 20 years now. After a long time away from the scene, I'm looking to put a band together for original music. I miss playing live and I miss being in a band with like minded friends. I am definitely a heavier and very rhythm oriented player, writing heavy rock and metal that's begging to be played live and loud! I have always loved soulful melodies and harmonies (hence the love of Kings X and Sevendust), as well as singer-songwriters. I very much have my own lead and rhythm style (not into the homogenized Djent and screaming stuff), but if I had to put myself in a box, I'm somewhere in the Ty Tabor meets Nuno meets Satriani territory. I am self taught and started touring at a very young age (19) which interrupted my college music beginnings. I am a good guy, great player, looking to connect.
