I am a formally trained recording engineer, BA in Radio & TV Broadcasting, 4 years classical piano, 3 years alto sax, singing since I was 5, band leader and lead singer since 1968, live sound and lights since 1968, Top 40 Rock touring band "Parallel" on the west coast and Alaska from 1980 t0 1987, acoustic guitar since age of 14, alto steel drums for 2 years, Harmonica, Bass guitar since 1980, song writer with 55 published songs and currently recording them in my own digital recording studio. I would like to find talented musicians to record and promote as well as sound reinforcement. I'm primarily a recording engineer now but I would enjoy doing sound for a band that is looking to better their pay and crowd. I'm not a rock star any more but I would like to help others to grow their skills. I know a lot about the music business and ran one of the top paid Top 40 bands in the northwest for 7 years. We were booked 6 months to a year ahead at all times and played 6 nights of the week most of the time. I do what I do for the love of the music since I am retired from the job market. I'm looking for bands, small to medium venues and events that I can promote and provide quality sound reinforcement for to take advantage of my 45+ years of musical experience.
