Hi I'm a 22-year old talented singer/songwriter/keyboard player aspiring to get signed by a major label and I'm looking for 3 to 4 young, good-looking musicians with a pretty rad sense of style to help me take my current music (which is more of a softer sounding pop style) and kick it in the ass. I want to create a sound that is a fusion of pop, rock, and hip-hop. Think along the lines of the clash, timbaland, and justin timberlake (haha) making a band. I'm sick of the gangster hip-hop and cheesy pop sh*t that's controlled the industry for years.

I want the sound to be rockin', hip, and edgy. I want to show people a hip-hop inspired sound that actually makes a statement. I have an entire floor in my house vacant and ready to practice in and no neighbors (accept one drug dealor haha but he doesn't care) so we can be as loud as we want. Here's what I need:

Drummer: Someone with a rock or jazz background who can bring in a hip-hop flair to his/her rhythm. The hip-hop flair will give you a lot of creative room to pump out some really creative beats and fills.

Guitarist: Someone with a rock and acoustic background. You're going to bring the driving rock sound to the hip-hop drum beats.

Bassist: Someone with a rock/funk background who can mesh well with the drummer to create a sick rhythm section.Synthesizer: Someone who can do electronic synth overtop of my keyboard playing to ad color and assist in the hip-hop feel.

If you have a good singing voice that is a HUGE plus for harmonies. My pop voice, keyboard playing, and catchy writing, fused with the rest of the band's rock/hip-hop sound is going to give us a really cool edge and I think it's going to be the next direction of mainstream music.

I'm open to suggestions and hearing input on this because I'm in the beginning stages of my concept, but the bottom line is you gotta be talented, young, and good-looking. The reality behind the industry is that talented bands with good-looking members are more marketable and have an easier time catapulting their careers, and I want to take advantage of that fact if possible.

Remember the music on there is NOT the style I want to do, but you can at least hear my voice, song-writing, and all around playing abilities. The thing is I have too much sexual and creative energy in me to be a lounge singer haha so I want to stop writing with just the piano and start writing to live musicians. I want to rock out on stage and I want musicians behind me who want to rock out as well.
