Popsicle Cult, is the second solo album composed and produced by Henry Veloso. Continuing where "Miles From Oz" left off, he draws influences from various styles of music and their sub-genres, like Funk, Rock, Jazz, Acid Jazz, Brazilian, Fusion, Latin and Pop (to name a few!). The tracks include the incredible talents of Jeannine Hebb on lead vocals, Jonathan Powell on trumpet and flugelhorn, Abby Powell and Natalie Roy also on vocals.
Henry Veloso is a musician/producer. Originally a bassist who got his chops doing sessions, playing live and recording with a number of bands and artists for many years in the Los Angeles area. He now works out of his studio in Brooklyn, NY where he captures the New York energy and flavor in his work.
