Position 9 started in high school as an acoustic, soft rock project between Chris Meckes and Nabid Chowdhury. After a year of college, we came back together with some new views on music and life. Together with Brad Williams, another friend from high school, we kicked Position 9 into high gear and made it what it is today: A completely original mix of all our influences into one cohesive yet diverse sound.

We've been playing shows since '09 mostly in the Atlantic City area, and just this past winter ('11) we completed a demo entitled "Rhythm & Soul".
