Singer with 15 years of playing experience. Majored in vocal performance in college for two years and have developed my style taking what I learned from my classical training and melding it with more contemporary styles of music.
My strengths: Projecting my voice, switching between screaming and singing with ease, being able to nail large singing interval jumps from high to low and low to high with accuracy, being able to emote well on stage and convey emotion from the song in my presence and in the way I sing the song. I have completed the highest level of music theory my college could offer and can easily create songs without the need for other instruments to play first, only using my voice and piecing together melodies to create songs, I am also a writer so my lyrics are at a high level of depth and context and meaning (and I keep reading to make my lyrics even better) I have a large range that is greater than an octave and I keep expanding that range when I make a song that requires me to do so. I can make songs in multiple languages (I speak twelve languages). I am a perfectionist and can make music immediately with a band I play with and try my best to be a motivational force in the group and make time for those who are serious about music. =)
I prefer performing Post-Hardcore, Hardcore, and Alternative and Nu Metal, Punk, Goth, and Emo. I am also getting more into electronic music (Particularly Chillstep and Trance). I prefer singing genres where I can emphasize my singing voice more than screaming, but I love doing both in equal proportions.
