ABOUT

Poverty Records, Established in 1999, based in Pasco County, Florida (USA). Contrary to popular belief, Poverty Records is not a vanity label or a subsidiary of a larger, parent label. Poverty Records is an independently owned and operated record company with its own international distribution. Poverty Records is also co-distributed by Catapult Distribution.

Poverty Records accepts both solicited and unsolicited materials from most genres of music. However specializing mainly in alt/rock, punk, hardcore, ska, and metal genres. All press kits must include the following:
- A group photo
- Group bio
- Demo (Cd format)
If you have any press clippings or anything else you believe would help your cause feel free to send those as well. It is not necessary to send t-shirts, stickers, or other promotional items with your submission. However, it does show us that you have been marketing yourselves. That's always a bonus. Poverty Records does not accept mp3 and/or EPK submissions. ALL EPKs WILL BE DELETED AS SPAM.
