I'm looking for a new drummer who can learn songs quickly and perform from late June, 2023 on stage in Chicago.
I'm from South Korea and formed a shoegaze band Precocious Neophyte in Chicago after releasing my DIY home-recording album.
We've been playing shows from last winter in Chicago and have more shows until October including a release show for my LP from a small label.
Unfortunately, our current drummer might move to another state next month, so I'm looking for a new drummer who is a good fit for us and can learn songs quickly.
We have a practice room at Music Garage and each paid about $60 per month. I'm making and recording music by myself and the band is for live performances, so it could be less fun than other bands if you really enjoy creative work. But we are all nice people and you don't have to play exactly the same thing from recording stuffs.
