A Little About Pretty Little Monsters....
Mickie-Ryan is the mind behind the creation of Pretty Little Monsters. Her mother raised the youngest of all girls in Los Angeles, California. From the time young Mickie-Ryan could open her eyes she was front and center for the camera. She began attending acting classes in elementary school and it was clear that she was a born entertainer and model. Any shyness melted away once she step foot on a stage in front of an audience, which translated into her later becoming the recipient of multiple National acting and theater awards. Her desire to perform followed her to high school where she began to express herself creatively in other ways including dancing and writing poetry. Her writing comes from a deeply personal place and quickly became the best outlet of emotion for her. Shortly after she began writing it was brought to her attention that her writing style has the essence of song writing, with a rap edge. Before she knew it she was performing spoken word and rapping. After graduating from high school her acting and pursuit of writing and music carried her to college. She went on to study theater and fashion design.

At every opportunity Mickie Ryan was networking and working on music every way she could. She soon realized she had an insatiable desire to create a legendary girl group that would unite the masses and blow peoples minds, leaving them wondering if they could handle more. After several years of trial and error she discovered the second member of Pretty Little Monsters, They never felt comfortable following trends and conforming to the style of the times. These eccentricities have fueled their desire to show the world that you don’t need to be the typical beautiful woman to be sexy and powerful. Pretty Little Monsters are ready to take over the world and show everyone the new definition of the strong sexy woman.

Pretty Little Monsters are a clear example of the times. Music, culture and fashion are evolving and changing before our very eyes. The lines that used to define the different genres are quickly fading away. Hip-hop heads and electro kids are partying and skating with punk rockers and hippies. Pretty Little Monsters are a part of this movement. Being of mixed cultures themselves the girls have always intertwined their different styles and music inspirations. The girls want to embrace this melting pot we are living in and create a sound for it. The group considers themselves Electro Hip-Hop with Pop Rock vocals. Some artist that serve as major inspiration for the group are; Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, M.I.A., Peaches, N.E.R.D., Speaker Junkies, Fefe Dobson, and Prodigy. The girls promise to deliver a sound and energy you have never heard from a girl group before. Their taboo topics and edgy style will shock and pleasantly surprise you. So come along for the ride.
