Acoustic Guitar.

I can receive messages here :).

I sing for my daughter and myself. To encourage and build up. And I want to share with people who need it, which is most people, really!

I really like acoustic covers of heavy metal songs, acoustic blues. Wanting to get into open-mics again to sing, but need at least an acoustic guitarist to accompany me. It's ok if this person wants to sing too, but I am not great at harmonizing, lol. Just a cooperative situation where we are for the same goal.

I can't spend a lot of money on this! We can talk if you are interested but need to be paid, but I will prefer all this to be free.

I have a range of maybe A below middle C to the 2nd D or E above middle C. Not quite alto, not quite soprano. I took voice lessons when I was younger (almost studied opera), but chose something else instead. Tried to keep it up by joining local choruses and going to open mics, but haven't had time these past few years after my daughter was born (been 10 years now). So, it's definitely been a while, but I am confident I can become a strong singer again because I have a real and personal motivation now. And, despite my training in classical, I have always preferred singing acoustic rock, blues, some jazz. I prefer to sing strong but can sing soft/light as well.

Some very rough recordings here on my profile - can't sing too loud b/c of complaining neighbors, so singing at 50%.

I trained in classical piano too, for maybe 15 years. Would love to take up piano again too, but it's a bit hard to carry a good piano around, lol. And it's not feeling like part of my goal right now. But I mention this to show that I know some technical stuff.
