ABOUT

Back Stage Pass is a Jersey Bound Rockabilly/Phsycobilly group. We play to the sounds of 50's music, and use it to connect with people of all ages, whether it be groups of senior citizens, high school teenagers, drunk college kids on a Saturday night, or people who lived through the 50's. By the end of the day, everyone is smiling, dancing, clapping along, and having an amazing time with us, which is what keeps us going

Influences

Growing up, I pretty much gravitated towards 50's music and Broadway musicals. The first song I ever heard that got me hooked on both sounds was "Who Loves You" from the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys. After listening to more of their stuff, I was influenced to pick up the music of other Broadway shows like Bye Bye Birdie, Jekyll and Hyde, Guys and Dolls, Million Dollar Quartet, even Jesus Christ Superstar. Then by 8th grade was when I had officially started listening to classic Rock n' Roll artists, such as: Elvis, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Gene Vincent, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Stray cats, and so on. Then when I first got together with my lead guitarist Arturo, him and I started looking at alternative rock styles together (through his influence) and incorporating it into our 50's based style.
