Hello! My name's Danny and I've recently been feeling that music has been missing just a little too much in my life. I've been a drummer since I was in elementary school and played all throughout school until halfway through college. I've been in rock, alt, funk, and jazz bands, orchestras, drumlines, and most commonplace music ensembles. I've been wanting to get back into drumming and play live shows for quite some time now, but I'm also a recent resident of my area and would like to make some new friends! And musical ones are the best.

A lot of people say this, but I like pretty much everything (excluding REALLY country-y country and REALLY metal-y metal.). Forgive me if you don't agree with the genre I classify these artists under, as music is so subjective, but here is a list of my influences:

Classic Rock:
Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, the Who, Led Zeppelin, the Police, Queen, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Chicago

Motion City Soundtrack, Grouplove, Misterwives, Two Door Cinema Club, Mom Jeans., Modern Baseball, Weezer, Muse, early stuff from the Front Bottoms, Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers, Jukebox the Ghost, Smallpools, Passion Pit

Snarky Puppy (and most variant members' solo work, i.e. Shawn Martin, Bill Laurence, etc.), Art Blakey, Dave Brubeck, Vulfpeck, Youngblood Brass Band, Organ Freeman, Gabriel Gundacker

Hip Hop/R&B:
Logic, Laurence, Jon Bellion, Bruno Mars

I don't have a drum set at my apartment, but depending on the area practices would be, I can pick mine up. It's still at my folk's place. I'd likely need to rely on a fellow band having a kit for me, though.
