I played in metal bands all through out high school and my early 20s. I mainly did vocals but also played rhythm guitar in a metalcore band. I haven't been in a band in a long time, about 10 years but recently got the itch and picked up the guitar again, I'm looking to get back to vocals, though either is awesome!
I'm into a wide range of metal music from black/melodic/death metal to progressive/technical stuff, Nu-metal, Metalcore/Deathcore, Slam. Pretty much anything extreme but I tend to like melodic and groovy music, synth and electronic stuff/atmosphere is a huge bonus.
Having a wide range in taste, I'm pretty flexible in defining a sound/style/approach. I love performing live and have truly missed having that outlet to be passionate about. Hopefully you are not turned off by my not having been in a band in so long, Looking forward to getting creative with some new people again!

To reiterate my wide range of taste, my biggest influences In no particular order or categorizing and some of the more recognizable names:
Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder. Cradle of Flith, Beneath the Massacre,Marilyn Manson, Darkest Hour, Whitechapel, Opeth, Slipknot, Suffocation,Cryptopsy, Mudvayne, In Flames, Fear Factory, Rings of Saturn, the list could go on for pages and pages.
