Alto saxophone player looking to jam or casually rehearse with others. Recently moved to the area. I have time to meet about once a week and am willing to come prepared to each rehearsal (can learn songs by ear, listen to recordings). Depending on work, I may be able to play gigs occasionally.
I mostly play jazz but am flexible to play in any style. I love improvising, jamming, and talking about music.
Experience: I've played in school bands since middle school through college (jazz, concert, and pit orchestra). Most recently I jammed with some friends in a small band where we played alternative, rock, and jazz.

Influences
Variety of jazz musicians (Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Lee Morgan, Thelonious Monk, etc.). Have listened to pop, alternative, and Chinese pop/folk music over the years too.
