My name is Matt, I just moved to NYC not too long ago..
I've been writing lyrics for the better part of 8 years..but I've been writing all my life...I 'm pretty new to this whole thing though, (trying to start a band). But I am very determined. I'm willing to learn and grow, and hopefully grow along with some fellow musicians.

Influences
Lyrics wise: The Academy is..., Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, Coheed and Cambria, Jimmy Eat World etc.. I also like alot of 80's bands such as GnR, Skid Row, Mr.Big.. also The Doors, The Beatles etc..
I want to write a song that causes millions of people every where to wear out the repeat buttons on their ipods..
EQUIPMENT
I have a peavey guitar, with amp (amp isn't in NYC yet).
